Pre-filtration

Different types of panel filters are available , both for coarse – and fine filtration.
Panel filters are available with cardboard frame and Z-line filter package, which is the cheap solution for pre-filtration.
Panel filters are also available with minipleat filter package, which increases the filter area significantly.

Panel filters with minipleat are available with cardboard, plastic or metal frame.
Panel filters with plastic frame is the most commonly used type, whereas the metal frame is used where temperatures reach up to 230°C.

There is a big difference between discount – and quality air filters. You will save money in the end by using quality filters as they bind more particles before the pressure loss kicks in = reducing energy usage.
