How the Magnet filter works

A magnetic filter uses a permanent magnetic field as a filter. All metallic impurities are collected from the rotating disc and is automatically removed by stainless steel knives (mud scraping blades) and loaded into the mud tank. The filtered liquid falls into the clean coolant tank and gets directed to the machine tools through a pump.

The SM-C-series is equipped with a jet-breaker diffusor which reduces the speed of the incoming dirty coolant in the magnetic divider.
